Grand Seiko SBGV009
cal. 9F82
Factory Spec. 10 SPY
Thermocompensated: Thermistor
User Adjustable: Yes
One of the first High Accuracy watches I acquired. This limited edition watch with the 9F82 movement is just about the most beautiful watch I own. No lume on the hands or markers, but finished in such a way as to make it easy to read the time in any light.
User adjustable in increments of 8 SPY, this watch is currently (August 2015) running at around the high six to low seven SPY.
The lack of independently adjustable hour hand makes this (and all other Grand Seikos in its range) an undesirable watch for many HAQ adherents.
UPDATE - after a year of fantastic service (nearly every day on the wrist), I was very sad to part with this watch. Of all the watches I have sold or am planning to sell, this and the Habring2 will be missed the most.
FURTHER UPDATE - I just couldn't let it go. I missed this watch so much that I went back to the AD and bought another one!
Some details for this watch may not be complete as it has not yet completed comprehensive testing.
