Swatch Sistem51
Sistem Chic, SUTB402
ETA C10111
I acquired this watch for an example of what will surely turn out to be a classic. An automatic Swiss watch, 100% made in Switzerland. A unique, in-house movement, entirely made by robots in just 20 minutes.
This is a particularly tricky watch to set. The seconds do not 'hack', but may be induced to pause or even run backwards by certain manipulations of the crown. The minute hand is easy enough to align to a marker, but, nine times out of ten, replacing the crown (even with extreme caution) will cause the minute hand to jump one or two (or possibly even more) minutes.
One of the most impressive aspects of this watch is its 90-hour power reserve. I can set the watch running on a Friday; forget about it for the weekend; and come back to find it ticking along on a Monday.
I have read that the Sistem51 is rated to +/- 7 SPD, although I have also heard that it is rated to 10 SPD. I cannot find anything official on this.
Some details for this watch are missing because it is not subject to the same tests as others in the collection.
